Who we are

Big Night is operated by Web Smith – FZCO, a free-zone company licensed by the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (IFZA), licence no. 90841, registered at DSO-IFZA, IFZA Properties, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Contact: hello@bignight.games.

In these terms, "we" and "us" means Web Smith – FZCO.

Who can use it

Host accounts are for adults aged 18 and over.

Players under 18 may play only with the permission of a parent or guardian. Children under 13 may play only with a parent or guardian present in the room. The host is responsible for the room and for who joins it.

Players never need an account. They join with a nickname only.

Games, not gambling

Big Night is for entertainment only. There is no wagering, no betting, no prizes of money or value, and no loot boxes or paid chance items. Points have no value outside the game and can't be exchanged for anything.

What you can do

Host and play the games with friends, family, colleagues or a class, for personal and non-commercial use. Using Big Night for a paid or commercial event needs our written agreement.

You may not resell access, copy the questions or games at scale, attack, overload or try to break into the service, or use it to harass anyone.

Content rules

Some games show what players type or draw on the shared screen. Everyone is responsible for what they submit, and it must be lawful in the United Arab Emirates and suitable for a family audience.

Not allowed: anything that insults any religion; breaches public morals; is sexual, violent or hateful; defames, threatens, bullies or discriminates against anyone; shares someone's private information or photo without their permission; or infringes someone else's rights.

Content is family-friendly by design. Younger children should play with an adult, who can judge whether a game suits them.

Reporting and removal

Anyone can report a player's submission, an AI-written question, or anything else that shouldn't be there: from the host's controls during a game (⋯ → Report a problem), on bignight.games/report, or by emailing hello@bignight.games.

A reported AI question set is removed from the shared library immediately. We review every report within 2 working days. Content that may be illegal or that puts a child at risk is handled as a priority.

We may remove content, retire question sets, close a room, suspend an account, and, where the law requires it, report to and cooperate with the UAE authorities. We keep a record of reports and what we did for 12 months.

Hosts can remove a player from a room at any time.

In Big Board, a disputed answer can be taken to The Referee, an AI judge. Each team has two challenges per game. Its ruling settles the game, but the host can always override it.

Questions written by AI

Unless a host writes their own pack or plays a built-in one, questions are written by an AI model (Anthropic's Claude) at the moment they are asked for.

We work to make them accurate, fair and suitable, and the host is always the judge, but a question can be wrong. Treat it as a game, not a reference. If a question is wrong or inappropriate, report it.

What hosts type into themes and instructions is sent to the AI. Don't include personal information about other people unless they're happy with it. The Privacy Policy explains exactly what is sent.

Intellectual property

Big Night — the software, design, name and logo, game formats, bundled question packs, and the AI-written question sets we store — belongs to Web Smith – FZCO or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it under these terms. You may not copy, sell or redistribute it.

What you submit stays yours. That covers players' answers, captions and drawings, and the question packs hosts write. You give us a limited, royalty-free licence to store, process and display it only to run the game for your room (and, for host packs, to keep them in your browser). We don't use player submissions for advertising or to train AI, and they are deleted with the room.

You confirm you have the right to what you submit. Don't upload other people's copyrighted material, photos or personal information.

Pictures come from Wikimedia Commons under their own licences and are credited on screen. We don't own them.

Accounts

Sign-in is by a link sent to your email, valid for one hour. Keep your inbox to yourself: anyone who can read it can sign in as you.

You can sign out on the account page, and delete the account and everything held about you from the same page at any time. It takes effect immediately.

Paid plans

Big Night is free while it is in preview. The Pro plan is not on sale yet and we take no payments.

Before we charge anything, we will publish in these terms, in Arabic and English and before you pay: the price in UAE dirhams including any VAT, exactly what is included, how billing and renewal work, how to cancel, and our refund policy. Every payment will come with an Arabic tax invoice.

You will be able to cancel at any time, with the plan running to the end of the period paid for. If a paid plan isn't delivered or doesn't work as described, we will fix it or refund you. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the UAE Consumer Protection Law (Federal Law No. 15 of 2020).

Availability and changes

Rooms are deleted automatically within twelve hours of their last activity. We may change, pause or retire any game or feature. If we change these terms, the date at the top changes, and significant changes are shown on the site before they apply.

Liability

Big Night is provided as it is. To the fullest extent UAE law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses arising from its use — including a wrong answer costing you a game night. Nothing here limits liability that UAE law doesn't allow us to limit.

Ending

You can stop using Big Night whenever you like and delete your data yourself. We may suspend access for anyone who seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms.

Law, complaints and language

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the UAE courts have jurisdiction over any dispute. Complaints go to hello@bignight.games first; consumers may also contact the relevant UAE consumer protection authority.

These terms are published in Arabic and English. If the two ever differ, the Arabic version prevails.
